Ssekandi in Maputo for swearing in of President Filipe Jacinto

The Vice President Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi has arrived in South East African Republic of Mozambique capital of Maputo to attend the swearing in ceremony of President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, who won his second term in office during last year's general elections in October.

A newly renovated Chancery building of the Uganda High Commission in Dar-Es-Salaam was officially handed over to the Government of Uganda, yesterday Thursday 30th March 2017. The Chancery which is located on Plot 25 Msasani Road in Oyster bay, Dar-es-Salaam has been undergoing renovation over the past one year.

His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda paid a two-day State Visit to the United Republic of Tanzania from 25th to 26th February,2017.
